About Bridget.
Bridget is a mother of four children ranging in age from 10-18 years old, and a military wife of 14 years with six deployments under her belt. Bridget is affiliated with several organizations, to include Professional Photographer’s of America, Military Spouse Business Association, and Wedding and Portrait Photographers International.
Bridget received her first camera around the age of 8 and has had a camera in her hand ever since. Through the years Bridget has slowly upgraded her cameras and is now a full-time professional photographer. The move to go from a hobbiest to a professional was not an easy decision, however, with the urging of friends, neighbors, and complete strangers Bridget jumped right in and hasn’t looked back. Bridget has a small home studio complete with lighting, backdrops, and props that she uses for newborn sessions.
Bridget has spent a great deal of time mastering her style and her camera. Bridget has been practicing her skills for well over 20 years, long before she ever knew that it was to become a full-time passion.
Bridget is a perfectionist and feels as though she is never done learning. Bridget will never “master” photography because there is always something new to learn!
Bridget loves candid photography as she feels it is what truly tells a story. Bridget also incorporates traditional poses into her sessions, so you get the best of both worlds. Bridget loves to act silly on occasion, and her 4 children have taught her to have a lot of patience. She is a native Texan (yee-haw), who after 15 years of living all over the country as a Military Spouse, has been sent back home!
Bridget’s style when it comes to photography can best be described as bold, colorful, and have a grunge like feel. Bridget loves looking at pictures that just pop right out of the paper.
If you would like to work with Bridget and think y’all will be a great fit, give her a hollar (that’s Texan for write, email, yell, call, send a telegraph).
